01 How it works

  1. Add images and drag them into order.
  2. Choose page size, fit and margins.
  3. Create and download the PDF.

02 Good to know

JPEG and PNG images can be embedded without re-encoding. The smaller-file option and JPEG orientation correction re-encode images. HEIC photos are decoded on your device.

03Arrange JPG, PNG and other images into PDF pages

Add one or more images and drag them into the order you want. The PDF uses that order, with one image on each page. Choose Same as image to size each page to its image, or choose A4, Letter, or Legal paper with automatic, portrait, or landscape orientation.

For fixed paper sizes, Fit on page keeps the whole image visible; Fill page covers more of the sheet and may crop the image edges. Set a margin when you need a border around the page.

04Keep original image data or make a smaller PDF

Original quality can embed JPEG and PNG data without re-encoding when the image does not need orientation correction. The Smaller file option re-encodes images to reduce output size, which can change image quality. JPEG photos with orientation metadata and formats such as HEIC are decoded and redrawn as needed.

The result contains page images. It does not recognize words in a photo or make them editable. Use OCR PDF if you need a searchable text layer.

05 Questions

Can I combine several images into one PDF?

Yes. Add multiple supported images, arrange them in order, and the PDF will contain one page for each image.

Can each image use its own page size?

Choose Same as image to match each PDF page to its source image. You can also use A4, Letter, or Legal pages.

Will images fill or fit the page?

For a fixed paper size, choose Fit on page to show the whole image or Fill page to cover the page, which may crop its edges.

Will text in my image become searchable?

No. Images to PDF places the image on the page. Use Scan to PDF with OCR or OCR PDF to add searchable text.
