Choose a starting point

All starting examples are fictional. Replace every sample detail with your own. Your draft is kept only in this browser; use “Clear saved draft” on shared computers.

Keep it clean. Keep it to one page.

Use short, factual bullets, consistent dates, and skills that match the role and your actual experience. Include only relevant certifications and languages. Remove sample content, repeated keywords, and empty sections before sending.

Choose Classic or Modern for a single-column layout. Check the exported page count and shorten your content if it exceeds one page.

01 How it works

  1. Start empty or replace a fictional example with your own details.
  2. Choose a template and keep only information relevant to the role.
  3. Generate the PDF, check that it fits one page, and review it before sending.

02 Good to know

Keep your resume to one page with short, factual bullets and consistent dates. List only skills and credentials you hold; remove repeated keywords and sample details. Your draft stays in this browser. Classic and Modern use one column; Sidebar uses two, which some applicant tracking systems may read out of order. LaTeX pagination can differ from the PDF, so check the compiled result too.

03Replace every sample detail

Start with a blank resume or a fictional example. Replace sample names, employers, dates, credentials, and bullets before exporting. Keep each statement factual and relevant to the role.

Use concise bullets and consistent dates. Check spelling, contact details, and page breaks in the exported PDF before sending it to an employer.

04Choose a layout for your application

Classic and Modern use one column. Sidebar uses two columns, which some applicant tracking systems may read in an unexpected order. Follow the file format requested by the employer and check the PDF text order if an application form parses it.

You can also export or import LaTeX source. LaTeX pagination can differ from the browser preview, so inspect the compiled PDF as well.
