Options

Add a file to start.

FFmpeg runs locally in your browser. First use loads a roughly 32 MB same-origin WebAssembly core and can take time and use substantial memory. Combined inputs are limited to 100 MB, media duration to 30 minutes, frame dimensions to 4,096 pixels per side and 16 megapixels total, and output to 250 MB. Codec and filter support depends on the bundled build.

01 How it works

  1. Choose one video file.
  2. Set the crop's x/y position, width, and height in pixels.
  3. Download the cropped MP4.

02 Good to know

Crop coordinates and dimensions must be even pixels and fit inside the source frame. Output is re-encoded as MP4 and limited to 4,096 pixels per side and 16 megapixels total.

03Set the video crop rectangle

Choose a video and enter the crop's x and y position plus its width and height in pixels. The rectangle defines the area kept in each frame.

The position and dimensions must use even pixel values and fit within the source frame. The output is re-encoded as MP4, which may change file size or picture quality.

04Limits and compatibility

FFmpeg runs in your browser. Output dimensions are limited to 4,096 pixels per side and 16 megapixels. Combined inputs are limited to 100 MB and 30 minutes, with a 250 MB output cap.

05 Questions

What do x and y mean?

They mark the crop rectangle's starting position from the top-left of the source frame.

Why must crop values be even?

The tool requires even pixel coordinates and dimensions for the selected encoding path.

Can I crop outside the original frame?

No. The crop rectangle must fit inside the source frame.
