Trim video to a selected time range
Trim video by setting a start time and optional end time to keep one continuous part of a clip. Free to use, with no sign-up required.
Files processed on your deviceFFmpeg runs locally in your browser. First use loads a roughly 32 MB same-origin WebAssembly core and can take time and use substantial memory. Combined inputs are limited to 100 MB, media duration to 30 minutes, frame dimensions to 4,096 pixels per side and 16 megapixels total, and output to 250 MB. Codec and filter support depends on the bundled build.
01 How it works
- Choose one video file.
- Set the start and optional end time in seconds.
- Download the trimmed clip.
02 Good to know
The end time defaults to the end of the video. The selected range must fit within the source duration; output is re-encoded as MP4.
03Set the start and end for video trimming
Choose one video and enter a start time in seconds. Set an end time if you want to stop before the source ends, then download the trimmed MP4.
The selected range must fit inside the source duration. Trimming re-encodes the clip as MP4, so processing time and output size depend on the source and device.
04Limits and compatibility
FFmpeg runs locally in the browser. The combined input limit is 100 MB and media duration is 30 minutes. Dimensions are limited to 4,096 pixels per side and 16 megapixels, with a 250 MB output cap.
05 Questions
Can I keep a section from the middle?
Yes. Set both the start and end times to the range you want to keep.
What happens if I leave the end time blank?
The trim ends at the end of the source video.
Can I remove a section from the middle and keep both sides?
This tool keeps one continuous time range. It does not join two separate ranges.
