- Download the ZIP of WAV parts.
02 Good to know
The final part may be shorter than the others. Browser codec support applies; each input is limited to 300 MB and three hours, with browser memory limits applying.
03How to split audio
Choose one audio file and set the duration for each part in seconds. The tool cuts consecutive parts of that length and puts the WAV files in a ZIP archive. The last part can be shorter when the remaining audio does not fill a full interval.
Choose a part length that suits how you plan to review or share the recording. The split points are based on elapsed audio time, not silence or spoken-word boundaries.
04File limits
The browser must support the source codec. Inputs are limited to 300 MB and three hours, with additional limits from browser memory and the size of the uncompressed WAV parts.
05 Questions
Will every part have the same duration?
Each full part uses the duration you set. The final part can be shorter if the audio ends before another full part.
How are the split files delivered?
The WAV parts are packaged together in a ZIP archive.
