- Add the original and the changed PDF.
- Scroll both side by side.
- Review highlighted visual and text changes.
02 Good to know
Changed areas are highlighted in red and green, and changed words are listed per page. Small pixel changes may not appear in the visual diff. You can also download the comparison.
03Choose the original and revised PDFs
Add exactly two PDFs. Put the earlier version first and the revised version second so the changes are easier to interpret.
The comparison pairs pages by their order and shows them side by side. Review each page pair to see text changes and visual differences.
04Read text and visual differences together
Changed words are listed by page, and changed visual areas are highlighted. Use both views: a small pixel change may not appear in the visual highlights.
Different pagination can affect page pairing. If pages were inserted or reordered, review the surrounding pages instead of assuming each pair represents the same section.
05Check the source documents
This comparison helps review two files; it does not decide whether a change is legally or substantively important. Confirm critical edits in the original documents before relying on the report.
06 Questions
How many PDFs can I compare at once?
The comparison takes exactly two PDF files: an original and a revised version.
Does the comparison detect text changes?
Yes. It lists changed words for each page pair and also highlights visual differences.
Can visual highlights miss changes?
Yes. Small pixel changes may not appear in the visual diff, so review the text differences and source pages too.
