02 Good to know
Rows and columns are inferred from text positions. Complex or loosely aligned tables may need editing. Images, formatting, formulas, and exact table structure are not preserved. Optional OCR reads image-only pages, up to 25 MB and 20 selected pages; check recognized numbers.
03Export PDF table text as CSV
Add a PDF with selectable text, choose the pages to process, and select comma, semicolon, or tab as the separator. The tool infers rows and columns from the positions of text on each page.
You can add a blank row between pages to keep page boundaries visible in the resulting file. Open the CSV in a spreadsheet app or text editor to review its contents.
04Review table structure after extraction
Rows and columns are inferred, so complex tables and loosely aligned text may need editing. Check values, separators, and row order before using the CSV for analysis.
The export does not preserve images, styling, formulas, or exact table structure. Turn on OCR scanned pages for image-only pages, up to 25 MB and 20 selected pages. Check recognized numbers against the scan.
05Pick CSV or Excel output
CSV is a plain text format suited to importing into data tools. Choose PDF to Excel if you want an XLSX workbook with one sheet per page or numeric values stored as numbers.
Keep the original PDF to compare extracted rows with the document, especially for figures that affect decisions.
