Add files

Add at least 2 files to start.

FFmpeg runs locally in your browser. First use loads a roughly 32 MB same-origin WebAssembly core and can take time and use substantial memory. Combined inputs are limited to 100 MB, media duration to 30 minutes, frame dimensions to 4,096 pixels per side and 16 megapixels total, and output to 250 MB. Codec and filter support depends on the bundled build.

01 How it works

  1. Choose 2 to 8 video files.
  2. Arrange them in playback order.
  3. Join and download the result.

02 Good to know

Joining copies streams without transcoding. Files need matching video and audio codecs, dimensions, and stream settings; incompatible clips may fail to join.

03Arrange compatible video clips before joining

Choose between two and eight video files, put them in playback order, and join them into one MP4 file.

The files must have matching video and audio codecs, dimensions, and stream settings. Joining copies streams without transcoding, so mismatched clips can fail instead of being normalized automatically.

04Limits and compatibility

Combined inputs are limited to 100 MB and media duration to 30 minutes. FFmpeg must support the source codecs; the output is capped at 250 MB.

05 Questions

Why can two MP4 files fail to join?

MP4 is a container. The clips also need matching codecs, dimensions, and stream settings for stream-copy joining.

Can I join clips with different dimensions?

The join operation expects matching stream settings and does not transcode clips to a common size.
