02 Good to know
Pages are placed as vectors, so text stays sharp and selectable.
03Choose a page count and sheet layout
Add a PDF and choose 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, or 16 pages per sheet. Select A4, Letter, Legal, A3, or A5 paper, then set orientation to automatic, portrait, or landscape. Automatic orientation chooses a layout using the first page's dimensions.
Pages are placed across rows by default. Choose Down, then across to fill columns first. Adjust the sheet margin and gap if you need more space at the edges or between reduced pages. A border can make page boundaries easier to see when printing.
04Use the result as a compact print layout
The tool creates a new PDF with several source pages placed on each output page. It places PDF page content directly instead of making screenshot images. Higher page counts make each reduced page smaller; check that text is still readable at your intended print size.
This changes the layout of one PDF. If you need to combine separate PDF files, merge them first, then create the pages-per-sheet layout.
05 Questions
How many pages can I put on one sheet?
Choose 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, or 16 pages per sheet.
Can I choose page order and paper size?
Yes. Set the output paper and orientation, then choose Across, then down or Down, then across. Margins, gaps, and optional borders are also available.
Will the smaller pages stay searchable?
The pages are placed as vector content, so text remains selectable in the output PDF.
Does this combine multiple PDF files?
No. It lays out pages from one PDF on fewer sheets. Use Merge PDF first if the source pages are in separate files.
