02 Good to know
Numbers are placed at the bottom left of each page as visible text.
03Choose the numbering style
Use ordinary numbers, a Page label, a current-page/total format, Roman numerals, letters or custom text with {n} and {total}. Set a starting number and choose whether to skip the first page.
Choose a position, size and colour. Advanced settings can mirror left and right positions on alternating pages or adjust the distance from the edge.
04Check the result against your document
You can number selected pages rather than the whole file. Check the first and last numbered pages and make sure the marks do not cover footnotes, existing page numbers or other content.
For a cover followed by a numbered body, skip the cover and set the starting value to match the numbering convention you need.
